Real Estate Content Hub The News Funnel Joins theBrokerList as Marketplace Partner
CHICAGO, August 28, 2014 — The News Funnel, the largest real estate news aggregator and content platform in the real estate industry, has joined Chicago-based theBrokerList as its newest Marketplace partner.
The News Funnel boasts more than 10,000 free subscribers, and more than 2,000 companies also use it to create and share their own content for free on Company News Channels.
“Our subscribers come from all aspects of real estate—brokers, property owners, marketing and more,” says The News Funnel Director of Marketing Lindsey Kacher. “They can find all the news they need, read blogs, see videos—it’s a complete, free hub for real estate content.”
“Companies post news releases, videos, blogs, research and event news. And it’s targeted—it won’t be seen by all subscribers, just those channels that match their settings,” Kacher says. She adds that The News Funnel’s partnerships with dozens of syndicated third-party sites give companies’ postings even greater exposure.
The News Funnel also recently launched a content creation service, where their team of experienced writers from within the real estate industry will write press releases and blogs, for a nominal fee.
Linda Day Harrison, Founder of theBrokerList, says “We’re so excited to have The News Funnel join our Marketplace partners. The News Funnel saves us time by giving us the focused information we need without having to search the web for it.”
Founded in 2011, The News Funnel has already made an impact among industry leaders. Jonathan Schultz, Managing Principal of Onyx Equities, LLC, said, “The News Funnel is the most innovative news and information site I have seen in my 25 years in real estate.”
“The News Funnel's mobile app is exactly what our industry was missing,” said Tucker Development CEO Rich Tucker. “Now, I can quickly scan through real estate news that is tailored to my preferences on-the-go and whenever I want.”
Harrison adds, “The News Funnel is the ultimate source for two things commercial brokers can never get enough of—time and information.”
About theBrokerList: Founded in 2011, theBrokerList is the commercial real estate community’s first free online platform for finding brokers, deals, services and vendors. Founder Linda Day Harrison, a career commercial broker in Chicago, saw the need for an online community where brokers could connect with each other and with vital services and tools to make them more productive. She also made it theBrokerList’s mission to bring awareness and attention to the commercial real estate field, which is too often lumped in with residential realty. With more than 2,200 members, theBrokerList continues to grow rapidly, offering members pages where they can publicize their listings, property types needed and completed transactions. The website’s marketplace lists carefully screened vendors, and its blog is a forum where members and visitors can read some of the latest ideas in commercial real estate.
