As a member of AESI’s management team, Christine oversees operations and has implemented processes which ensure teams are working efficiently and communicating effectively to meet client goals and timeframes.
Christine was inspired from a young age by the opportunities for women in science and engineering. For Christine, choosing an education in science meant finding a supportive network of women. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, N.J. which provided exposure to the science field through leading graduate research programs and access to global corporations. In her professional career in environmental science and real estate, she works closely with Developers, CRE Brokers and Land Use Attorneys and she recognizes the importance of surrounding herself with strong women who are leaders and influencers in the industry. It is encouraging to see her clients changing the way property is transformed from under-utilized and contaminated sites into something beautiful and economically beneficial for the community.
When Christine joined AESI, she was encouraged by their leader’s commitment to empower women in the industry. Now in her 7th year with AESI, she is proud that nearly half of all employees and 2/3 of their senior management team, which includes Christine, are women. AESI’s President and Owner, Mike Novak, understands the power of elevating others and he was the one who suggested that Christine join CREW and get involved. In her 2 years as a CREW-NJ member, she has served on the Golf Committee, has been involved in Philanthropic initiatives, and in 2020 will be active on the newly formed Next Generation Committee. What she loves most about CREW-NJ is the collaborative nature of the association and how easy it has been for her to connect with CRE industry leaders and introduce CRE professionals to AESI’s clients.
Outside of work, Christine enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, ages 2 and 4 years old. She also enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking and rock climbing.
