Hackensack, N.J. (May 21, 2019) – NAI James E. Hanson announces it has negotiated a lease on behalf of The Solomon Page Group at Continental Plaza Office Center’s 401-433 Hackensack Avenue in Hackensack, N.J. NAI James E. Hanson’s W. Joshua Levering, SIOR, and Nicholas DePaolera represented the tenant, The Solomon Page Group, in the transaction with the landlord, JD CP Investors, LLC.

Solomon Page Group (‘SPG”) is one of the nation’s leading staffing solutions and executive search providers. Headquartered in New York City, SPG has over a dozen offices across the United States.  Josh Levering noted, “Having a well-located, modern office in the northern New Jersey marketplace is a priority for the firm.  It will allow them to work more efficiently with their regional clients and expand their services in the local marketplace”.

Levering continued, “Continental Plaza is a three-building 650,000 Class-A high-rise office complex. The complex features 24-hour security guard coverage, a U.S. Post Office, dry cleaners, conference facility, food service on-site, banking and garage parking for over 2,200 cars.  The property boasts a tremendous location at the intersection of Route 4 and Hackensack Avenue with easy access to the Garden State Parkway, New Jersey Turnpike, and Interstate 80. Additionally, Continental Plaza is within walking distance to the New Bridge Landing NJ Transit railroad station with service to New York City, which provides easy access to Solomon Page’s New York-based clients”.

DePaolera noted, “Continental Plaza was acquired by JD CP Investors in 2016 and is currently in the midst of significant capital improvements including everything from the mechanicals to upgrades in the buildings’ common areas. Additional on-site amenities of food and conference areas have totally repositioned the property to adhere with the needs of today’s tenants and employers. “

“Despite some negativity surrounding the office sector in recent years, we continue to see strong leasing velocity for modern and well-located office properties like Continental Plaza,” said Levering. “We know this trend will continue as modern and prestigious companies like SPG compete for an increasingly limited pool of well amenitized and ideally-suited spaces. Our competitive market has only made it more crucial to leverage the counsel of highly-experienced and knowledgeable brokers in identifying high-quality buildings and properties that meet the need of our modern-day clients.”
