NAI Hanson Arranges Long-Term Lease to Bring Warehousing and Distribution Firm to Clifton, N.J.
Clifton, N.J. (January 10, 2017) – NAI James E. Hanson, a leading New Jersey-based full-service independent commercial real estate firm, announced a lease for 22,220 square feet of industrial space to Delaware Freeport in Clifton, N.J. NAI Hanson’s Eric Demmers, Russell Verducci, Darren Lizzack and Randy Horning represented the landlord, PFPM, LLC in the NAI James E. Hanson exclusive listing.
The space, located in a 68,759-square-foot building, was recently renovated and boasts with 14’ ceilings, two tailgates, two drive-ins and 22 parking spaces. The property boasts an excellent location with direct access to Route 21 and proximity to Routes 3 and 46 as well as the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey Turnpike. Delaware Freeport will be utilizing the space to warehouse and distribute products to the New York metropolitan area.
“Smaller, well-located industrial spaces like this one, although not as flashy as the larger mega warehouses proliferating across the state, continue to drive the leasing velocity of the northern New Jersey market,” said Demmers. “Due to limited supply and heightened demand, a highly competitive leasing market has developed over the past several quarters for industrial space of all sizes. Our team’s experience and market knowledge has enabled us to work with tenants and landlords throughout the market to navigate this fast moving and competitive market to secure the best deals on behalf of our clients.”
Robin Ritter-Ceriello and Larry Casey of Cushman & Wakefield procured the tenant for this transaction.
