NAI Capital Recruits Top Brokerage Team

Los Angeles, CA December 4, 2018– NAI Capital is pleased to announce the addition of four professionals to its Downtown office. Joe Faulkner, Executive Managing Director of NAI Capital’s Downtown office, led the effort. Chris Runyen, CCIM, Michael Vara, Tracy Taft and Faye C. Montgomery join NAI Capital from Charles Dunn. They bring with them an impressive and wide range of market area expertise.

Chris Runyen joins NAI Capital as Senior Vice President. He specializes in sales and leasing of office properties. Chris has handled well over 1,000 lease and sales transactions, exceeding 3M SF of space and $1B in transaction volume. His client roster includes City National Bank, California National Bank, Charles Schwab & Company, and the American Red Cross.

Faye C. Montgomery joins NAI Capital as Senior Vice President with an extensive background in sales and leasing. She specializes in retail, office, and industrial properties in the Greater Los Angeles area, including the San Fernando Valley and Downtown LA.

Michael Vara comes to NAI Capital as a Senior Vice President with experience representing investors. He specializes in multifamily investment sales, retail, office, and industrial properties within the Greater Los Angeles area. Michael earned a reputation for successfully handling sales of off-market deals wherein the sellers prefer quiet transactions for privacy reasons.

Tracy Taft will serve as a Vice President at NAI Capital. He brings extensive retail market expertise representing both tenants and landlords. He is a commercial real estate veteran with a wide range of experience in brokerage, management, and business development. In addition to his years as a broker, Tracy managed site identification, lease negotiation and oversaw construction of new locations as Director of Real Estate for two regional retail concepts.
