MELVILLE, NY – November 7, 2016: Retail broker Dennis McCoy, of NAI Long Island, has completed a ground lease and sale deal for 520 W. Montauk Highway in West Babylon, NY. The 27,500 square foot building, situated on 4.2 acres, is a former Lincoln Mercury car dealership that subsequently underwent a zoning change to accommodate an assisted living facility. Dennis McCoy represented the seller, Cobra Management, in this transaction, and the property was acquired by Engal Burman Group of Garden City for $7 million +. “This was a difficult deal to get through. Everyone involved worked together to get this to the finish line,” McCoy commented.
Mr. McCoy specializes in high end properties ranging from a $1 million to $50 million valuation, and represents landlords as well as tenants in leasing and sales. He currently represents over 150,000 square feet of retail space for NAI Long Island, and has represented national tenants such as Chrysler Motor Group, Arooga’s Grill House & Sports Bar, First National Bank of Long Island, ShopRite, and Buffalo Wild Wings.
