Big Sky Conference Expands in Davis County
June 7, 2019—Farmington, Utah. Newmark Grubb ACRES is pleased to announce that Big Sky Conference has leased space in the newly constructed Farmington Tech Center located at 286 South 200 West in Farmington, UT. The 33,000 SF building was constructed in 2018 and is now home to the corporate headquarters for the collegiate athletic conference.
The impressive deal was facilitated as Big Sky needed space to expand, along with proximity to the airport to accommodate the travel schedules of university athletic directors and commissioners. Both Executive Vice President Chris Falk, CCIM, SIOR and Braxton Willie, CCIM of Newmark Grubb ACRES represented the landlord, Stay FTC, LLC, alongside Ryan Flint and Rand Sargent with Colliers International in this transaction. Melissa McIntyre with CBRE represented the tenant.
Regarding the transaction, Falk commented, “I am happy to see the Big Sky Conference choose to remain in the state and present the opportunity for Utah to be showcased as the home of a collegiate conference headquarters.
