ZIMMEL ARRANGES SALE OF BERGEN COUNTY OFFICE BUILDING TO URBAN EDGE (NYSE:UE)
Edison, NJ, April 23, 2018—David Zimmel, CEO, Zimmel Associates, the Edison, New Jersey-based corporate real estate services firm, recently handled the $2.8 million sale of a 16,000 sq. ft., two-story office building located at 197 Spring Valley Ave., Maywood, NJ, to Urban Edge (NYSE:UE).
Urban Edge is a real estate investment trust that owns, manages and improves shopping centers in and near urban communities. The building is located adjacent to The Outlets at Bergen Town Center, an Urban Edge property, and is visible from Rt. 4. The seller is Jaclyn LLC, represented by Bruce Fischer.
“Jaclyn awarded us the exclusive to sell the building and we had interested buyers within a month,” says Zimmel. “Urban Edge purchased 197 Spring Valley Ave. as an investment and we are pleased that they have named Zimmel Associates the exclusive leasing agent for the building. Currently 8,000 sq. ft. is available and we can divide it into smaller units.”
