Young Bergen Professional Finds Reserve at Montvale Ideal for First Home Purchase
Montvale, NJ, August 2016 – Matt Weiss had his eye on The Reserve at Montvale for a while. The Bergen County native first noticed the new K. Hovnanian® townhome community when construction began last year. “I spent over a year looking at different condominium and townhome developments throughout Bergen County,” Weiss shared. “Ideally, I wanted new construction and a townhome setup. As a young professional with no children, I didn’t need a home with a lot of additional property to maintain. In addition to professional considerations, it’s also a very well-situated development. The development is built in a cul-de-sac – there’s no through road, so we have very minimal traffic. It’s quiet, with a country-like atmosphere and woods behind us. I love the fact that it’s secluded – but at the same time you’re just a few minutes from getting to major destinations.”
Weiss was also impressed with the homes at The Reserve at Montvale. Buyers have a choice of four different floorplans, in two unique townhome styles: stacked and traditional two-story townhomes. The Norfolk and Yale designs feature the stacked townhome floorplans, offering up to 2,101 square feet of living space, with either three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths, or two bedrooms and three baths. It was the Norfolk model that caught Weiss’ eye. “I looked at a lot of communities and townhome developments and this was the only model I’ve seen that has three full bathrooms in a two-bedroom setup. Typically, a two-bedroom unit has one or at most two full bathrooms. It’s a really unique offering. I also love the outside patio area, especially for entertaining guests during the spring and summer months. Plus, I like how you come into the home on the ground floor, instead of going up steps. It’s convenient for when you have groceries to bring into the house, for example.”
The traditional townhome floorplans are the Radford and Princeton II homes, which offer up to 2,378 square feet of living space, with three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, and two-car garages. Pricing for these homes begins from the mid-$700s (subject to change). These homes have been selling especially well and, in fact, are now in final countdown, with only a few of each remaining.
