Yardi Delivers New Self Storage Management Software Platform

Yardi introduces a new core property management system built on a mobile web-based platform with add-on products available for a full business solution

SANTA BARBARA, CALIF., June 17, 2015 — Yardi® announced today the launch of its first mobile, web-based, cloud-hosted product offering for the self storage industry. Built on the Yardi Genesis2™ platform, Yardi Genesis2 for Self Storage streamlines property management and accounting functions for self storage operators with small to mid-sized portfolios. This Software as a Service (SaaS) platform features best-practice workflows to automate day to day operations and a full accounting system including a powerful general ledger with A/R and A/P; all operating and accounting data is centralized and accessible 24/7 with an Internet connection. 

The fully integrated Yardi Genesis2 Suite™ offers all-in-one functionality for self storage with optional add-on products for marketing, leasing, insurance, payment processing, and tenant services. For example, the marketing and leasing solution included in the suite, RENTCafé™ features a prospect portal that allows prospects to find and apply for available units online. Once a prospect becomes a tenant, they can manage their account online and make payments via multiple payment options offered through a tenant portal.
