NEW YORK – November 13, 2014 – VTS announces two new hires to its growing West Coast team in the company’s San Francisco and Los Angeles offices. Grant Wood has been hired as VP of Business Development, running the Western Region, based in San Francisco, and Eric LaCoursiere has been tapped as Director for Southern California based in Los Angeles. VTS plans to double its West Coast workforce by the first quarter of 2015, aggressively expanding its footprint.
Wood brings more than 14 years of enterprise software sales experience to VTS, growing and scaling both emerging and Fortune 500 companies. He joins VTS from Yardi Systems, Inc., where he most recently served as the national account executive for the western United States. There he was tasked with managing the largest commercial and investment management clients. Prior to Yardi Systems he worked with SAP and Oracle selling software and technology solutions, servicing the west coast region.
LaCoursiere has 10 years of commercial brokerage experience, spending most of his career with Cushman & Wakefield in New York City and Chicago, where he built the Global Alternative Investment Services practice group with partners in six global hedge fund/trading markets.
“Continuing to add top tier talent to our team is a major priority for VTS. We could not be more excited about the technical and real estate backgrounds of both hires, we’re a company trying to bridge that exact gap for an entire industry. Their experience lends itself perfectly to what we’re trying to accomplish and has already had an extremely positive impact with our clients” says VTS’s national Head of Sales and former JLL broker Andrew Flint.
“We’ve been impressed by the commitment VTS’ business and technical teams have to delivering tools that drive value for clients like our company,” said Michael Schmidt, Vice President – Western Region for Columbia Property Trust. “I’m pleased to hear that they continue to attract talented people from the real estate and software worlds.”
