Voorhees Builder Honored as Remodeler of the Year
CHERRY HILL, N.J. – Charles Kojeski of Kojeski Construction Company in Voorhees was recently honored as Remodeler of the Year by the Builders League of South Jersey.
The Remodeler of the Year Award is given annually to a builder member recognized as a top-notch remodeler who makes a significant impact on the remodeling industry in New Jersey and advances industry issues within the regional and national housing markets.
Kojeski, who served as BLSJ President in 2013, has been actively involved in the League’s community projects through its Charitable Foundation, as well as other area projects. He is no stranger to helping others and promoting the image of remodelers within the industry. Kojeski is also an expert in fire restoration.
In May he lead a team of volunteers from the League and the Knights of Columbus Council 6520 from St. Mary of the Lakes in Medford to construct a ramp for an Audubon Family that would allow their daughter to have full accessibility to and from their home.
In June he joined efforts by the Atlantic County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity and the Discovery Channel to help in critically- needed home repair of those affected by Hurricane Sandy on October 30, 2012. Kojeski was part of a team that installed a new kitchen into one of the homes.
He recently appeared on behalf of the League on NBC 10’s Superstorm Sandy television special, alerting homeowners on how to ready their homes for future storms.
