Buzz About the Leasing Opportunity is Already Circulating

New York, NY – July 17, 2012 – A two-story plus lower level school building built in 1964 and situated only one block from Main Street in Flushing, Queens, is available for long-term lease (ten years) through Eastern Consolidated, acting on behalf of the lessor, the Free Synagogue of Flushing.

Eastern Consolidated Senior Directors Marcia Yawitz and Adelaide Polsinelli are in the market with 41-60 Kissena Boulevard, originally built as a religious school for the synagogue, but which has been leased for over 40 years to the Windsor School of Flushing.

“This area of Flushing is in desperate need of a new school,” said Ms. Yawitz who added that the 15,600-square-foot building is strategically located only a block from the Long Island Railroad and No. 7 subway line and accessible to both local and express buses.  The property is located on the same street as The Queens Public Library.

“The school is centrally situated, enabling students and teachers easy accessibility to the premises. It also is equipped with a parking lot with spaces dedicated for use by the school.  The Temple will also make available on request from the lessee,  a 250-seat theater and meeting facility.”

“In addition to the classrooms on the lower and two upper levels, there is office space, a lounge area, a library that can function as a seminar room, and administrative offices,” noted Ms. Polsinelli.  “Basically, the school is in move-in condition, is air-conditioned and conceivably could be up and running for the fall 2012 school term beginning in September.  Word has actually leaked out about this offering, and we’ve had a number of calls already.”

For further information about the lease, please contacts Ms. Yawitz and/or Ms. Polsinelli at Eastern Consolidated’s Midtown offices:  212 499-7700.
