Bayville, NJ – Septmber 7, 2014

The Universal Building Network (UBuildNet.com) was launched in August 2013 as an online construction networking and marketing site designed by and for construction professionals.  Long-time construction pro John Clark founded UBuildNet after frustrating years of searching for an effective, affordable networking and dashboard solution that would help simplify and manage day-to-day construction operations.  Says Clark, “There are sites out there that address different aspects of construction business, but I found nothing that provides a single, simple, seamless, affordable solution to meet 21st century construction business challenges.”  Clark said he created UBuildNet to meet this need with a cloud-based one-stop-shop for the construction industry, their partners, and their consumers.

In March 2014, UPro Project Lite was added to the UBuildNet site to provide functions and features designed to facilitate successful projects for the Do-It-Yourselfer.  With the success of UPro Project Lite and a continually growing community of business-to-business and consumer-to-business users, UBuildNet is now preparing its next site expansion, UPro Project Professional, which will add a comprehensive project management dashboard.  UPro Project Professional will bring UBuildNet.com to a new level as a one-stop-shop for the construction industry, encompassing networking via the advanced search function and the “UConnect” capability, private and community messaging services, targeted advertising, and project management tools.

As a cloud-based multifunction construction solution, UBuildNet can be used from a desktop computer, laptop, or mobile devices, and it eliminates the need for managing the time and costs associated with data backups.  During the beta testing phase of the UPro Project Professional implementation, the product will be free.  Subsequent pricing will feature a low affordable monthly plan, with none of the multi-licensing fees or per-project fees associated with some of the other construction software solutions available.  Comments John Clark, “UBuildNet aims to meet the needs of the entire construction industry, from small one- or two-man operations to mid-sized companies, and to larger enterprises.   We understand the challenges within the industry for all types of construction businesses, so we are focused on providing innovation at affordable prices, which is good for the industry.”
