Two southern New Jersey businesspeople inducted into Builders League Hall of Fame
The Builders League of South Jersey has recently inducted two businesspeople from southern New Jersey into the association’s Hall of Fame. Honored were Bruce Paparone of Bruce Paparone Inc in Stratford and Jennifer Sauder of Thesing Power Sweeping in Sewell.
The BLSJ Hall of Fame was established in 2005 to recognize members and former members for their service and commitment to promoting the housing industry in New Jersey.
Paparone attributes the growth and stability of his business to his extended family, which has been building homes in southern New Jersey for more than 50 years and to longtime employees, who believe in the value of providing people with homes. In addition to encouraging his employees to become involved industry issues, Paparone has worked to help improve the knowledge of others in the area’s housing market by promoting professional development courses and events offered through the League. He has served on the League’s Board of Directors since 1989 and was president in 1994.
Sauder, who has served as the League’s vice president of Associates, has also been actively involved in housing industry issues, member education and public affairs outreach since she joined in 1996. She serves on numerous committees and has chaired the Associates Committee, which works to educate and involve subcontractors in all aspects of the housing industry. Sauder has also chaired many of BLSJ’s most popular annual events. It is through her member education outreach efforts that she has widely recognized.
