Two New Tenants Lease at Prism's Broadacres Office Park

BLOOMFIELD, N.J., April 4, 2014 - Bechtel and Financial Computer Inc. have joined the tenant base at Prism Capital Partners' BroadAcres Office Park in Bloomfield. In both lease transactions, Edwin H. Cohen, a Prism principal, served as in-house representatives for their firm, which owns and manages the four-building, 380,000-square-foot campus.

Bechtel, one of the world's most respected engineering, project management, and construction companies, leased 23,000 square feet on the first and second floors at 300 Broadacres Drive. Christopher Olsen from Newmark Grubb Knight Frank served as tenant broker in the transaction. Prism currently is building out Bechtel's new space. The company will take occupancy this spring, relocating its regional office to the property from Montvale, N.J., in an expansion move.

Financial Computer Inc. leased 4,200 square feet on the second floor of 400 Broadacres Drive. The information technology advisor, specializing in financial services offices, will relocate its headquarters to the property from Fairfield, N.J., in an expansion move. Curtis Foster of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant in the long-term transaction.

Prism currently is marketing opportunities from 2,500 to 30,000 square feet at BroadAcres Office Park. "This property's attractive accommodations and outstanding location continue to draw tenants in a range of industries," Cohen noted. "We have worked diligently to create an environment where they then stay and grow. Consistent leasing and renewals testify that we are meeting this goal."

Prism, itself, is headquartered at 200 Broadacres Drive and has maintained onsite property management operations at BroadAcres Office Park since it acquired the campus in 2006. Property upgrades have included the creation of an inviting outdoor courtyard and patio area, and full lobby updates at 300 and 400 Broadacres Drive. Tenants also enjoy available conference space and upscale, specialty sit-down food service and on-site catering on the ground floor of 200 Broadacres Drive.
