Jun. 5, 2013 - NEW YORK -- TheSquareFoot recently presented at Entrepreneur Roundtable Accelerator’s Demo Day which was held at the IAC building in New York City. The audience of more than 700 included venture capitalists, members of the press, angel investors, and other prominent members of the startup community.
TheSquareFoot was accepted into ERA in January and moved operations to New York City. The four-month program combines hands-on help, seed capital, great office space in New York City, and an expert leadership team to quickly get their portfolio companies to the next level.
At the Demo Day event, CEO Jonathan Wasserstrum announced that TheSquareFoot had 75% of the available space supply in Houston, Texas searchable on the platform and that the company had recently launched in New York City. TheSquareFoot’s markets now include Houston, Austin, Dallas, and New York.
Coming into Demo Day, TheSquareFoot had raised an additional $400,000 in capital from strategic inventors and used the event’s stature to continue to add interest from property owners as well as add to their investor list.
