McDonald, an experienced and well-respected commercial real estate Advisor with a background in e-commerce, provides auto accessories company with strategic advisement as it expands its national footprint

Ocala, Florida (December 17, 2014)—Bartow McDonald IV, Managing Director of SVN Florida serving the Ocala and north Central Florida region, recently led the effort to secure a new headquarters facility for a fast-growing e-commerce company in Ocala.  McDonald provided expert guidance in helping AutoCustoms.com, a leading provider of automotive accessories, locate and lease its new 19,670-square foot headquarters at Southeast 17th Street.

McDonald, an experienced and well-respected commercial real estate Advisor in the Ocala, Gainesville and north Central Florida market, brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic insights to e-commerce companies looking to expand their brick-and-mortar presence.  He has advised several e-commerce companies and previously launched his own e-commerce company.

“Although e-commerce companies are structured to conduct business via the Internet, they still typically require a significant amount of physical space such as headquarters and offices, warehouses, distribution centers and retail space,” said McDonald. “When working with companies such as AutoCustoms.com, my role is to help them identify the right facilities that can enhance their ability to conduct business and align with their e-culture and mission.”

In addition to his role helping AutoCustoms.com secure its new headquarters, McDonald also is working closely with the company’s leadership team to expand its presence nationwide.

“We have built a strong relationship with Bartow and we value his insights and guidance,” said Stuart Compton, CEO of AutoCustoms.com. “He is currently supporting our efforts to locate and secure appropriate warehouse and distribution facilities in a variety of regions throughout the country.”

AutoCustoms.com, a 10-year-old e-commerce company launched in Ocala, provides a wide variety of auto accessories and is one of the nation's top sellers of running boards and tonneau covers for truck beds.
