SiteCompli & Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP) to Host Seminar on FDNY Compliance

Free Seminar to take place at Scandinavia House in NYC on April 8, 2014

SiteCompli and CHIP will hold a free seminar on Tuesday, April 8 for residential and multi-family property owners, managers and developers on the topic “NYC’s Toughest Regulatory Challenge: Navigating the FDNY to Maintain Safe Buildings and Reduce Compliance Risk.”

SiteCompli is the leading provider of compliance technology and information to New York City commercial and residential property owners and managers. CHIP represents thousands of apartment building owners in the five boroughs and has been a key player in City and State housing policy for over 40 years. This is SiteCompli and CHIP’s third collaboration on an annual educational event for the industry.

SiteCompli and CHIP will be joined by ECB attorneys from Cohen, Hochman & Allen, the City’s leading administrative law firm focusing on NYC regulatory law, and fire and life safety specialists from Croker Fire Drill Corporation to participate in a panel discussion and Q&A that will address key FDNY compliance challenges and risk factors facing owners, managers and investors today.

“From finding and resolving offline FDNY violations to understanding building and tenant equipment permits to staying on top of code requirements, navigating the FDNY is critical to maintaining safe and compliant multifamily properties,” said Jonathan Fertel, VP of Client Services at SiteCompli, who will be participating in the panel discussion on April 8. Mr. Fertel added: “This event gives the NYC residential real estate community a chance to hear from FDNY compliance experts and ask questions about any particular FDNY challenges they have. We’re proud to partner with CHIP, Cohen, Hochman & Allen and Croker Fire Drill Corporation to provide this important information.”

The event will be held in the Victor Borges Auditorium at Scandinavia House, 58 Park Avenue, on April 8 from 9-11am, and is free with registration for all attendees. Space is limited, so those real estate professionals interested in attending are invited to register by visiting the seminar event page at:
