Press Release brought to you by Catylist

SCCMLS Coming Soon

I am pleased to announce the formation of the South Carolina Commercial Multiple Listing Service (SCCMLS), powered by the Catylist platform.

Establishing a statewide commercial MLS service will allow commercial brokerages across South Carolina to share data, listings and collaborate more efficiently. This is something we’ve been researching and planning for several years, and it’s exciting to be able to bring this solution to the commercial brokers and agents of South Carolina.

The Catylist platform is built exclusively for commercial practitioners and is a more tailored product designed to meet your unique business needs. Users will benefit from the system’s suite of products including custom reports, listing presentations, market stats, mobile access and advanced search and mapping tools.

“Our Catylist team is excited at the opportunity to serve the South Carolina Commercial MLS and its members on our local-national Catylist Network. As the leading commercial listing service for REALTOR® associations nationwide Catylist puts the Associaton and its members in firm control of their valuable data via first-class technology offering local-national data-sharing efficiencies unavailable anywhere else” said Richard Maxson with Catylist.

We plan to launch the new system in the Charleston region October 1, and expand to other markets within the next 12 to 18 months. Live and online training will be available prior to the system launch.

The SCCMLS has been established as a separate company, owned by the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors®, with it’s own Board of Directors to guide the direction and growth of the company.

Mike Ferrer, of Lincoln Harris, has been named SCCMLS President. “Our goal is to provide a commercially-focused MLS to all commercial brokers in South Carolina” said Ferrer. “Consolidating the commercial MLS service across the state will allow us to provide a superior product at an economical cost, while increasing the tools and data available” he continued. “Many brokers are plagued by expensive options in terms of marketing their listings through national companies or services with no local focus. The SCCMLS will give commercial practitioners a cutting-edge platform to manage their own listing content and utilize tools to help them grow their business” said Ferrer.

More details on launch date, system features and training opportunities will be shared in the coming weeks.

If you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me. We look forward to providing this exciting new product and helping to enhance your CMLS experience and your business.
