Press Release brought to you by NAI Summit

NAI Summit’s Sarah Finney-Miller recently represented Special Olympics of PA in a multi-year lease transaction for an office suite at 2158 Avenue C in Bethlehem, PA. With their main office in Norristown, this location will serve as their newly formed regional office serving 6 Pennsylvania counties including Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton and Schuylkill. The location was chosen due to its central geographic proximity to the Greater Lehigh Valley & Pocono regions.

The newly formed region is the first to be launched as part of SOPA’s statewide reorganization that will help the local programs work together to provide more and better opportunities for athletes. The local programs in the Greater Lehigh Valley & Pocono Region currently serve nearly 3,500 athletes and 1,000 volunteers, giving athletes the opportunity to compete in 20 different sports year round.

The mission of Special Olympics PA is to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. All training and competition opportunities are provided free of charge to the athletes and their families. Special Olympics PA strives to create a unified world by promoting inclusion, uniting communities, and changing attitude. Through Unified Sports, Special Olympics PA brings together individuals with and without intellectual disabilities as equal teammates in training and competition, which promotes respect and acceptance, and facilitates meaningful relationships between people of all abilities. The Lehigh Valley location will help the Special Olympics of PA continue and expand their efforts in our region.
