Reed Construction Completes Project for Mondelez International
CHICAGO – Reed Construction is pleased to announce that the firm has completed a 20,000 square foot build-out on behalf of Mondelez International (NASDAQ: MDLZ) at 8770 W. Bryn Mawr in Chicago.
Located in the Triangle Plaza, Reed Construction completed the demolition of existing space and reconstructed a new layout for Mondelez. The build-out featured the addition of glass-front, private offices, open work areas, a training room and conference room. Mondelez is expanding its operations from its corporate headquarters in Deerfield, Illinois.
Mondelez International, Inc. is one of the world’s largest snacks companies, with global net revenues of $35 billion in 2012. The Mondelez portfolio features nine billion-dollar brands including Cadbury, Nabisco, Oreo cookies, Tang powdered beverages and Trident gum. The portfolio also includes 52 additional brands which each generate annual revenues of more than $100 million.
Reed Construction’s senior project manager Jason Gunderson led the project team and Dean Siebert, Jr. was the project superintendent. Gastinger Walker Harden + Kincaid Malone provided the architectural services for the project.
