Reed Construction Completes First Midwest Office for Everi Games




CHICAGO, JANUARY 29, 2015 – Reed Construction is pleased to announce that the firm recently completed a 17,000 square foot build-out on behalf of Everi Games at 540 W. Madison Street in Chicago’s West Loop.

Headquartered in Nevada, Everi Games is the casino industry’s only full-service provider of slot machine games, content and payment solutions. Reed Construction was selected by Jones Lang LaSalle to create a state-of-the-art game design studio and staff offices on the twenty-fourth floor. This office will serve as Everi’s first location in the Midwest.

               The project included construction of a high-security slot machine test lab and showroom, sound-proof recording studios and a green screen video recording room. The space offers an open office layout and numerous collaboration areas meeting spaces, each named after a different Chicago neighborhood. A large common area was also built-out to include a kitchen, vintage games and additional meeting space for employees. In addition, a large executive board room with 12-foot wide sliding doors was constructed adjacent to the common area and features expansive city views. 

               Bryan Kreuger led the construction team for Reed Construction. Brenton Hermann was the project engineer and Jim Rubel was the project superintendent. Architectural services were provided by Solomon Cordwell Buenz and JLL served as the owner’s representative.
