Real Estate Experts Join The News Funnel As Featured Bloggers
Largest content hub in the real estate industry becomes source for great original content
(NEW YORK. N.Y. – April 14, 2014)- The News Funnel has announced that as part of its continued push to create the destination for all real estate content in the country, it will now feature original blogs by some of the industry’s leading professionals.
The first group of “Funnelists” were selected to represent a broad cross section of real estate professionals from several prominent markets. Bob Knakal of Massey Knakal, Jeff Weil of Colliers International, Nathan Edwards of Cassidy Turley and Jeremy Neuer, Meade Boutwell and Ken Krasnow of CBRE will all be weekly contributors to the site’s FunnelCast blog. These new Funnelists will add extensive depth to FunnelCast coverage by providing specialized content focused through the lens of an industry insider.
Bob Knakal co-founded Massey Knakal Realty Services in 1988, a diversified real estate company with four offices dedicated to servicing the New York metropolitan area. To date, he is responsible for the sale of more than 1,500 buildings worth over $10 billion. Bob will lend the immense insight gleaned from decades of experience in New York real estate to his contributions for FunnelCast. Jeffrey Weil is an executive vice president for Colliers International Walnut Creek. He is one of a select few in the U.S. who have simultaneously achieved CCIM, SIOR and NACORE’s Master in Commercial Real Estate Services with Honors (MCR.h) designations. He has specialized in the sale and leasing of commercial properties for 38 years, and will put his decades worth of experience to good use as a Funnelist covering the San Francisco Bay Area.
Meade Boutwell, LEED AP O&M, is a senior vice president for CBRE and will be a San Francisco-based Funnelist. He is a 29-year veteran in the industry and has worked with esteemed clients like Supercell, Merill Lynch, Prudential Real Estate Investors and CBRE Global Investors. Boutwell has sold, leased or subleased more than 9 million feet of commercial space in the Bay Area during the course of his career.
Nathan Edwards is the Director of Research for Cassidy Turley in Washington, D.C. and will utilize the skills required at his post to provide substantial real estate coverage of D.C. area.
Ken Krasnow is the managing director for CBRE’s South Florida offices. In 2012, under his oversight, CBRE South Florida executed over 875 lease and sales transactions with an aggregate value of over $2.2 billion. His region has also completed over 1,550 valuation and advisory assignments and $800 million in loan originations. Ken will cover the Miami/South Florida region in his capacity as a Funnelist.
Jeremy Neuer is a senior vice president in CBRE’s East Brunswick office who has completed assignments for companies such as AIG, Sony Music and Time Inc. The nature of Jeremy’s work has called for him to serve as a representative for some of the most prestigious buildings throughout the state of New Jersey, and his knowledge of the area will be on full display in his work as a Funnelist.
