President/CEO of NJSEA to Address CoreNetNJ in September
PRESIDENT/CEO OF NEW JERSEY SPORTS & EXPOSITION AUTHORITY TO ADDRESS CORENET NJ & ICREW NJ MEMBERSHIP & GUESTS

LIVINGSTON, NJ - CoreNet Global NJ (Corporate Real Estate Network of New Jersey), the New Jersey State Chapter of CoreNet Global, in cooperation with I-CREW NJ (Industrial Commercial Real Estate Women, Inc.) has scheduled an open forum with Wayne Hasenbalg, President/CEO of the New Jersey Sports & Exposition Authority (NJSEA) on Thursday, September 20, 2012 beginning at 3:00 P.M. The interactive dialogue will take place at 5 ADP Boulevard (7 Becker Farm Road) in Roseland, New Jersey.
Mr. Hasenbalg will discuss the “Impact of New Jersey Sports Facilities on the Area Economy,” and provide details on several upcoming world-class projects with major economic impact in the State including the 2014 Super Bowl, the Formula One Grand Prix of America, WrestleMania, and the multi-billion American Dream Meadowlands entertainment & retail complex. He will also discuss the state of the horse racing industry in New Jersey and the plans for the IZOD Center and other major venues in the State.
The NJSEA has been designated as the State’s lead agency to facilitate and attract major sports and entertainment events. Mr. Hasenbalg will discuss how these changes will impact business and tourism efforts throughout New Jersey.
The NJSEA delivers the world’s best in sports and entertainment for the citizens of New Jersey and the metropolitan region, providing entertainment and economic benefits from all Authority facilities. As President & CEO of NJSEA, Mr. Hasenbalg manages activities at the Meadowlands Sports Complex consisting of the IZOD Center, the Meadowlands Racetrack and MetLife Stadium. In addition, he oversees the Sports Authority’s interests at Monmouth Park Racetrack, Woodbridge Off-Track Wagering, 4 NJ Bets Account Wagering, and the Wildwoods Convention Center.
Prior to joining NJSEA, Mr. Hasenblag served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Planning in the Governor Christie’s Office. He also served as an Assistant to the Chief Counsel of the Governor of New Jersey in the Thomas Kean administration, and as Chief of Staff for the Attorney General of New Jersey, Cary Edwards.
Registration is $35 per person for CoreNet and I-CREW members, $50 for non-members, and $75 at the door.
