Pace Advertising Expands with Hiring of New VP, Account Director
New York, NY, October 2015: Pace Advertising, a WPP company with a venerable, 65+-year track record for innovation in developing branding and marketing campaigns for commercial and residential development and brokerage clients, has announced the hiring of Heather Malko as Vice President, Account Director. In this new position, Malko will be responsible for spearheading new business development for the agency, according to Cara Faske, President of Pace.
“We’re very excited to bring Heather on board at this pivotal time in the growth of Pace,” Faske commented. “I had the pleasure of working with her a few years ago, before my agency, Cara Martin, merged with Pace, so I know what she can bring to the table. When she worked for my agency, Heather doubled our annual gross sales in a very short period of time. She is skilled at networking and prospecting and knows how to find and develop truly qualified leads for the agency. A senior account manager with proven marketing expertise, she also knows how to build trusting and lasting client relationships. Pace has an ambitious growth agenda right now, as we prepare to launch a new website and a major agency rebrand, so it’s critical for us to have someone on board whose primary responsibility is new business development. Heather’s previous success as a new business winner has convinced me that she’s the right person for this role and I can’t wait to see how she helps us take Pace to the next level.”
Prior to working with Faske at Cara Martin as Senior Vice President, Account Services, from 2005-2008, Malko worked at Chavin Lambert Advertising (a division of Omnicom) as Senior Vice President, Account Manager; and at Four Seasons/Regent Hotels and Resorts as a National Corporate Representative. Most recently, she worked as a freelance consultant for Rockrose Development Corp., providing analyses and recommendations for the leasing efforts of the firm’s New York City rental portfolio.
Malko commented on her new role with Pace. “I’m genuinely thrilled to be working with Cara Faske again and excited to be part of Pace and WPP. There is so much potential for the agency right now, in both the commercial and residential markets. We have a unique approach to how we do business and a creative team that is extraordinary, so I’m really looking forward to putting our experience to work for new clients in the market, to help them succeed with their most critical projects.”
