The Oaks of Vernon Hills Luxury Rental Community Nears Completion on Second Phase
CHICAGO (February 8, 2016) – Chicago-based REVA Development Partners has announced construction is nearly complete on a second phase of development at The Oaks of Vernon Hills, a 336-unit luxury rental community in Vernon Hills. Demand continues to be strong for the rowhomes and apartments completed in the initial phase of the 27-acre development and this expansion will bring an additional 32-unit apartment building to the community. Leasing and property management is being overseen by Kinzie Real Estate Group with pre-leasing for Phase Two slated to begin in early spring.
Located along Route 45, just west of Milwaukee Avenue, The Oaks of Vernon Hills is nestled in a serene setting among mature oak trees with a combination of apartments and rowhomes arranged in a series of pocket communities. Similar to the 256 apartments in Phase One, the 32 units in this next phase of construction will be a mix of one-bedroom/one-bathroom, some of which include a den, and two-bedroom/two-bathroom plans. “The market response was very strong for the apartments completed during the first phase of construction which prompted the village to approve construction of this second phase,” said Matt Nix, principal of REVA Development Partners. “With rents for one-bedrooms starting at just $1,499 a month, we’re anticipating a similar demand for the one- and two-bedroom plans available in this second phase,” noted Nix.
The many environmentally friendly features found throughout the community earned The Oaks of Vernon Hills Silver LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
