Northgate Crossing Luxury Apartments in Wheeling, Illinois Opens Two Decorated Models


CHICAGO (February 23, 2016) – Chicago-based REVA Development Partners has revealed two decorated models at Northgate Crossing, a luxury rental community of 288 units in Wheeling, Ill. Both one-bedroom and two-bedroom models at this clubhouse community are now open to tour.

Located in the heart of Wheeling’s Town Center district at 250 Northgate Parkway, the 20-acre Northgate Crossing development will feature nine three-story apartment buildings on a heavily landscaped, amenity-rich site. The residences will include one-bedroom/one-bathroom, one-bedroom plus den/one-bathroom and two-bedroom/two-bathroom plans measuring approximately 696 to 1,212 square feet. Pricing for one-bedroom homes starts at $1,350, while two-bedroom homes start at $2,000. Move-ins are currently underway.

The decorated models include a 770-square-foot one-bedroom/one-bathroom, ground level apartment and a 1,212-square-foot two-bedroom/two-bathroom unit, both of which feature private balcony space. Each model highlights the different finish packages available at Northgate Crossing: one with white kitchen cabinets, light granite countertops and dark plank flooring; and the other with espresso cabinets, medium-toned granite countertops and light plush carpeting.

Upon entering the one-bedroom model, the home opens to the kitchen area with its center island seating, white cabinetry, stainless appliances and granite countertops and a living area decorated with contemporary furnishings. The master suite features a walk-in closet large enough to be shared by a couple and its attached bath, with a tub/shower and granite-topped vanity, is accessible from the main living area. Plank flooring throughout – and available on all ground level apartments – adds a sophisticated touch to the entire space.

“We wanted to showcase the options for adding a personal touch to the space while highlighting the high-end condo quality finishes available at Northgate Crossing,” said Nix. Residents also appreciate the private patio space as an excellent option for a quick fresh-air fix, he noted.

Located on the second floor, the two-bedroom/two-bathroom model has an entry niche for decorative accessories while a built-in valet provides additional storage and serving options. The kitchen features espresso-colored cabinets, stainless appliances and granite countertops as well as a sizable breakfast bar. Ample dining space is adjacent to the kitchen and allows seating for several guests.

The master suite, decorated with dark finishes and furnishings, offers an attached master bath with a granite-topped, double-bowl vanity and a tub/shower with custom glass doors. The second bath is accessible from the living area and is attached to the second bedroom which, in this model, is decorated as a home office to show potential renters one possibility for maximizing the flexibility of the space.

Residents at Northgate Crossing will enjoy various community amenities, including an approximately 7,000-square-foot clubhouse with a fitness center, club room, business services, demonstration kitchen, gaming/theater room and management offices. They will also have access to outdoor features, such as a resort-style swimming pool and sundeck, grilling stations, ample patio seating, fire pit, bocce ball court, and walking paths.
