Recently launched customized news website for business readers brings on Miriam Rosenhaus to oversee content
NEW YORK CITY (September 6, 2012)– The News Funnel, a free website that enables business readers to create a customized news funnel based on their unique preferences, today announced the hiring of Miriam Rosenhaus as Associate Content Manager. In this role, Rosenhaus will be responsible for monitoring all content including hard news, as well as user-generated news uploaded to the site directly by registered companies.
The News Funnel launched earlier this year with a focus on the real estate vertical and sources industry-specific articles, press releases, event announcements and market research reports. It is currently offering coverage in three U.S. markets: New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, with plans to expandnationally and into other business-to-business verticals in the near future.
A graduate ofLafayette College and resident of Morristown, N.J., Rosenhaus previously worked in the commercial real estate industry as an administrative assistant at Newmark Associates, a New Jersey-based commercial real estate services firm. She also completed an internship with the Associated Press where she conducted research and assisted in designing marketing campaigns for the imaging department.
With the hiring of Rosenhaus, The News Funnel now has eight employees in its New York City office.
