NEWMEYER & DILLION TO HOLD SEMINAR ON NEW CHANGES IN EMPLOYMENT LAW
IRVINE, Calif. – April 21, 2014–Newmeyer & Dillion, LLP, one of California’s most successful multi-service business and real estate law firms, will hold an in-house employment seminar titled “Employment Investigations Uncovered: The Who, What, Where, When and Why” on May 8.
During the seminar, Newmeyer & Dillion associate Robyn Frick will discuss new minimum wage laws going into effect July 1 as well as new sexual harassment laws. Employers will learn why harassment and discrimination investigations are necessary, how to handle them, and some of the most common mistakes to avoid.
Frick, an associate in Newmeyer & Dillion’s Newport Beach office, focuses her practice in the areas of business, real estate and employment litigation, including dispute resolution in real estate, contracts and trademark/trade secret matters. She has litigated cases in both state and federal courts and represented clients ranging from large corporations to individuals. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles in 2003, Frick received her juris doctor with honors from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 2006. Before she joined Newmeyer & Dillion, Frick served as a judicial extern for the Honorable John F. Walter in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
