Newmark Grubb ACRES Justin Farnsworth to Serve on Elevate Buildings Advisory Committee


Newmark Grubb ACRES (NGA) is pleased to announce that Vice President of Asset Services Justin Farnsworth will be serving on the newly formed Elevate Buildings Advisory Committee.

Elevate Buildings is an initiative created by Mayor Jackie Biskupski though the Salt Lake City Department of Sustainability in effort to improve both air pollution and economic competitiveness by increasing energy efficiency in some of Salt Lake’s large commercial buildings. 

Farnsworth also serves as President Elect for the Building Owners and Managers Association of Utah (BOMA), an organization that feels strongly about helping the community by making sure that commercial real estate is being an active participant in the mission to reduce air pollution and promote energy efficiency. Along with Farnsworth, BOMA has several other members that will also be serving on the new committee.

“Our participation with this important initiative is proof that partnerships with our local government can lead to significant strides in the effort to reduce air pollution and increase energy efficiency,” said Farnsworth. “From an investment standpoint, saving energy just makes sense.”
