NAI Spring Represents Ohio River Properties

WEIRTON WV (February 21, 2017):

Frontier Services Group of Companies, recent purchaser of the 1,100-acre former Weirton Steel property, announces that Bryce Custer, SIOR, CCIM, Petrochemical and Energy Services Specialist will serve as the exclusive Listing Agent for the property.  “We are fortunate to have Custer on our team” said Robert Zuchlewski, Chief Operation Officer at Frontier Group of Companies.  “Custer will be coordinating his efforts with Chris Wietig, Sales and Marketing Manager at Frontier, to market the property which includes Brown’s Island” said Zuchlewski.

Custer is also actively involved with marketing the Mingo Junction, OH property.  Custer continues to market ~100 acres of barge and rail served property at the Mingo Junction site.  “In addition to Weirton and Mingo Junction, Custer will also be responsible for marketing another of our recent acquisitions; the former AEP Kammer facility south of Moundsville, WV along the Ohio River” said David P. Franjoine, president of Frontier. “Custer’s real estate background in the energy services space, knowledge of rail and logistics combined with his chemistry background make him uniquely qualified to represent our interests along the Ohio River Corridor” said Franjoine.

Custer is also working closely with Patrick Ford, executive director of The Business Development Corporation of the Western Panhandle.  In addition to the BDC, Custer has been working with Kris Hopkins, Director, Business and Industrial Development for the State of West Virgina Department of Commerce and James C. Owrey, National Accounts, WV Department of Commerce to attract businesses to West Virgina.

“The potential for the Weirton property is tremendous” said Custer.  “The facility is ripe for re-purposing and bringing companies and jobs to the Weirton area. We have been working diligently to attract companies to the area and anticipate an announcement coming soon.”  said Custer.
