NAI KLNB Brokers Sale Of 9,000 Square Foot Historic Property In Annapolis, Maryland For $2.1 Million
NAI KLNB has brokered the sale of an approximate 9,000 square foot historic property, located on 59 Franklin Street in Annapolis, Maryland for $2.1 million to The Finter Group, LLC. David Fritz, SIOR and Michael Moran of NAI KLNB represented the sellers, Patricia Schiavone and Shalia Avery, in this transaction. The buyers were self-represented.
Built in 1908 and converted from a residential property to one zoned for commercial usage, the structure was enlarged with two additional one-story wings in the 1950s and renovated to accommodate the business offices of a law firm. The building also offered a loft style apartment on the upper level. It is situated within walking distance from the heart of downtown Annapolis and features a surface parking lot that can accommodate fifteen vehicles.
“Since its conversion to a commercial use, this property performs extremely well in a business environment and the new owner acquired an extremely well-positioned asset near the State Capital of Maryland,” explained David Fritz. “With vehicular parking so scarce throughout greater downtown Annapolis, the availability of multiple free parking space is a significant amenity.”
