Christie & McGee Represent the seller & procure the buyer in the disposition of an 89-unit apartment complex in New Bedford

BOSTON—NAI Hunneman, a leading provider of commercial real estate services, recently brokered the $9,484,000 sale of The Willows, an 89-unit apartment community located at 50-52 New Plainville Road in New Bedford, MA.

Executive Vice President Carl Christie and Assistant Vice President Dan McGee represented the seller Tarkin Hill Nominee Trust and procured the buyer Willows Property, LLC.

“This was a complicated transaction involving both apartment and condominium units within the complex,” said Christie.   “There were some remodeled units and some that were in original condition.  The new owner plans to continue upgrades at the property.”

Located in the northern section of New Bedford along Route 140, The Willows is an 89-unit apartment complex, built in 1988, consisting of two and three-bedroom garden style apartments. The spacious units offer eat-in kitchens, dishwashers, built-in microwaves, wall-unit air conditioners, and ample closet space. The Willows is conveniently located in a quiet country setting away from the congestion of the city but in close proximity to shopping, restaurants and public transportation.
