Minnerly & Osvold represent seller Mass Development/Taunton Development Corp. for construction of a 55,000 SF corporate headquarters location at the Taunton Park

BOSTON, MA - NAI Hunneman recently completed a 6.78-acre land sale to Maxon Precision Motors for a new U.S. Headquarters facility at The Business Park at Myles Standish. The Swiss-owned company is relocating to the Business Park from Fall River. The sale marks the first corporate user at the business park, with plans to initially construct a 55,000 SF building for product manufacturing and distribution, with the ability to expand to 100,000 SF.  Maxon will be transferring its current Fall River staff of 40 employees and plans to add a minimum of 50-75 new jobs within the next 5 years. The company officially broke ground on the facility last Thursday (June 22nd) and hopes to be up and running by June of 2018.

Executive Vice President Cathy Minnerly and Vice President Ovar Osvold represented the seller, Mass Development/Taunton Development Corp., while Maxon was represented by Bernard Giroux from Giroux & Company.

“The site is an ideal location for a Maxon’s Headquarters as it offers direct access to major highways, access to a deep and talented labor pool and all the infrastructure to construct a world-class facility,” said Minnerly.

The Business Park at Myles Standish, developed and managed by MassDevelopment/Taunton Development Corp., is a new 44-acre business park offering 5 acre up to 20 acre lots accommodating 20,000 SF up to 200,000 SF.  The Park is located adjacent to the Myles Standish Industrial Park and directly off Interstate 495.
