— Union City Board of Education Will Use Site as Central Location for Services —
HACKENSACK, N.J. – NAI James E. Hanson, a leading New Jersey-based commercial real estate firm, today announced that it recently completed the sale of a retail property located at 2214 Kennedy Boulevard in Union City, N.J.
NAI Hanson Senior Vice President Gary P. Sauerborn served as the exclusive listing agent for the property on behalf of owner, Towne Cadillac, Inc. The Union City Board of Education purchased the 19,860-square-foot building.
“The property is located between several Board of Education Schools and facilities,” Sauerborn explained. “The building provides the board with the ability to place several divisions of the school system in one central location.”
Located on an approximately 27,000-square-foot lot, the site is zoned for light-impact industrial with permitted uses of heavy retail and service commercial establishments, printing establishments, fully enclosed wholesale and storage establishments, data processing centers, and research and development lab space. It is near major roadways including 495, Routes 3 and 9 and the New Jersey Turnpike.
