NAI Hanson Completes Lease Transaction at Retail Site in North Bergen, N.J.



Lessee Attracted by Good Parking in Urban Area 

NAI James E. Hanson, a leading New Jersey-based commercial real estate firm, today announced that the firm completed a long-term lease transaction at 2229 Kennedy Boulevard, a 5,000-square-foot, premier retail storefront space in North Bergen, N.J.

NAI Hanson Senior Vice President Gary P. Sauerborn represented the landlords, JGP Properties and NGB Properties.

The lessee, Aaron's, a national retailer of computer furniture, computers and electronics, was attracted by the ample amount of parking on the approximately one-acre piece of property. Formerly home to a 22,000-square-foot car dealership, the site was converted for retail use.

"The tenant chose this storefront property for its ample parking in a high-density urban area," Sauerborn said. "Located on highly-trafficked Kennedy Boulevard and having nearby access to highways, the site fulfilled a variety of business needs."
