Haskell, N.J. — NAI James E. Hanson, a leading New Jersey-based commercial real estate firm, announces it has brokered the sale of a 3,800-square-foot neighborhood retail center located at 1108-1116 Ringwood Avenue in Haskell, N.J. NAI James E. Hanson’s Associate Vice President, Darren Lizzack, and Senior Sales Associate, Randy Horning, represented the seller, Abeth Reality Company Inc., in the transaction. Defino & Co. Realtors represented the buyer.
The retail center is home to Aloha Nails and national tenants Subway and The United State Post office which has served the community from the same location for more than 50 years. The property offers ample onsite parking and adjacent businesses include 711 and CVS Pharmacy.
“Investment properties continue to be in high demand due to a low interest rate environment combined with limited alternatives,” said Lizzack. “The property’s location, strong tenant mix and the triple net lease structure was attractive to the buyer in satisfying their investment criteria. The buyers were looking for a 1031 tax deferred exchange given they recently sold another like kind property and had a limited time to identify a replacement property to acquire.”
