NAI Emory Hill Wins Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Journal Awards
New Castle, DE - The Emory Hill Companies received awards in several categories of the Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Journal's "Best of 2017" Awards contest that were recently announced including:
BEST LAND SALE: NAI Emory Hill agents Jon Hickey and Jim O’Hara Jr. represented the seller, a group of local investors, in the $10 million sale of a downtown Wilmington site at the corner of 11th and Jefferson Streets to Delle Donne Associates of Newark, DE. One of the largest development parcels in Wilmington’s CBD, the site can accommodate a building of over one million SF.
BEST MEDICAL OFFICE LEASE: NAI Emory Hill broker Neil Kilian, CCIM, SIOR, represented the landlord in the lease of 79,184 SF of office space at 110 Lake Drive in the Pencader Corporate Center in Newark, DE to Seimens Medical Solutions, global leader in medical imaging, laboratory diagnostics, and healthcare information technology.
BEST "GREEN" CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: Emory Hill & Company built the 8,500 SF Sultana Education Foundation’s stunning new Richard and Virginia Holt
Center in Chestertown’s Historic District which melded a 19th century historic building with a new facility which won LEED Platinum certification and fulfilled the foundation’s expansion goals. The project won several awards including the 2018 DCA (Delaware Contractors Assn.), ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) of Delaware and Baltimore ULI (Urban Land Institute) awards. The project features a 1,000 SF Geography Classroom, a state-of-theart Wet Lab, a 1,000 SF Lecture Hall, newly expanded offices and a Project Shop to maintain the Foundation’s floating classroom, the 1768 Sultana schooner.
