NAI Earle Furman’s Multifamily Division Closes $60MM Carolina’s Portfolio

Sumter, South Carolina and Jacksonville, North Carolina- November 2017

NAI Earle Furman’s Multifamily Division arranged the $60MM sale of Piedmont Plantation and Plantation at Jacksonville, a 612-unit portfolio located in Sumter, South Carolina and Jacksonville, North Carolina.  Tony Bonitati, Kay Hill, and Bern DuPree arranged the transactions on behalf of the Seller, Berkley Hall Construction based out of Greensboro, North Carolina. Triangle Real Estate of Gastonia acquired both assets in subsequent transactions in November and was not represented in the sale.

The Plantation at Jacksonville is a three-story community constructed in 2014 and consists of 360 one, two and three-bedroom units.  Piedmont Plantation, constructed in 2007, is a three-story community as well and consists of 252 one, two and three-bedroom units. Both properties featured community amenities such as a pool, fitness center, dog park, playground and car care center. The properties were fully occupied at the time of sale.
