Multifamily Wealth Seminar Presented by Berzack Investment Property Advisors Draws Over 160 Investors
Evening included panel of some of Los Angeles' biggest multifamily owners along with talks on the newest tax and estate planning strategies
STUDIO CITY, CA – Feb. 10, 2015 – Over 160 multifamily owners came together from across greater Los Angeles to learn from a panel of top Los Angeles owners at the third annual "Multifamily Wealth" seminar presented by Berzack Investment Property Advisors (www.berzackadvisors.com), a specialty multifamily brokerage team that brings more than 100 years of combined experience as both agents and owners.
"Top Multifamily Owners Share the Secrets to Their Success," held in Studio City, CA, on Feb. 5, 2015, featured a panel of some of Los Angeles' largest private apartment owners, with over 2,500 units among them, revealing how they built their portfolios and the keys to being a successful multifamily investor.

The evening, which became standing-room only, also gave attendees the rare opportunity to ask direct questions in an interactive Q&A on owners' biggest challenges today. The crowd was especially attentive to the panelists' more personal disclosures, such as when they spoke about the most challenging situations they've faced, their biggest regrets and their greatest blessings.

The event also featured a special market review and forecast for 2015, given by Stephen Geiger, a partner of Berzack Investment Property Advisors and a Lee principal. Additionally, there were talks by a top real estate attorney and CPA on the latest estate and tax planning strategies for saving money and protecting owners' assets.
The owners panel Q&A session generated lively interaction on such topics as: maximizing value; reducing expenses without sacrificing service; handling late-paying tenants, problem tenants and the eviction process; dealing with governmental interventions; and managing legal issues, lawsuits and insurance claims. Berzack spoke on and moderated the panel as well.
Speakers included: Warren Berzack; Stephen Geiger; Selwyn Gerber, founding partner of Gerber & Co. CPAs; and Marc Stern, partner with Greenberg Glusker. The owners panel speakers included: Tim Sauer, owner of Sauer Properties; Danny Monempour, president of Monem Corporation; and Andy Goldman, owner of Goldman Property Group.
