Press Release brought to you by The Massimo Group

Three-part monthly series to present proven brokerage business acquisition, valuation and succession strategies in live interactive format, Thursday March 19th at 12 Noon EDT

CARY, NC (March 4, 2015) – The recent avalanche of mergers and acquisitions among commercial real estate companies, some for nine figures, can leave owners with dreams of multimillions – and challenges in planning for the future.

To help owners and principals assess and maximize the value of their firms, Massimo Group Founder and President Rod Santomassimo and Consultant H. Lee Rust are launching the Commercial Real Estate Business Owners Success Series (CRE-B.O.S.S.), three monthly interactive, live webinars, with the first to be held Thursday, March 19th at 12 noon Eastern Daylight Time.

Rod_profile_4x6.jpg "Mergers and acquisitions are rampant right now among commercial real estate companies, to the point where many owners are receiving unsolicited bids. Now more than ever before, owners must evaluate how to maximize the value of their firms," Santomassimo explains. "This program will add clarity and provide valuable information they can not only apply immediately, but leverage if and when it is time for them to position their firms for sale or succession."

As North America's leading commercial real estate coaching and consulting firm, The Massimo Group has worked with a number of clients who've seen their business grow, and later be acquired. Most recently, client Robert A. Knakal, Co-Founder and Chairman of Massey Knakal Realty Services, sold his firm to Cushman & Wakefield for a reported price of $100 million.

"The Massey Knakal sale, of course, is an extraordinary example," Santomassimo cautions. "But all firm owners, regardless of their firm's size, must plan for the future, whether coming years will bring a sale of the company or a passing to the next generation. And Lee Rust is uniquely qualified to pass on his wisdom, derived from decades of experience."

Rust, now an independent consultant, has financed, analyzed, structured and negotiated more than 100 sales, acquisitions and companies over a 40-year career. His projects have ranged from structuring an independent broker to purchase regional offices from a large national organization (and then a subsequent sale back to the same company) to analyzing, pricing and structuring a generation shift in a nationally licensed brokerage office.

"Even the most successful business owners find looking at their companies objectively," Rust says. "Each of our sessions focuses on helping owners discover the best way to achieve the greatest value for a lifetime of work.”"

Webinar sessions will range from 75 minutes to 90 minutes, with Rust discussing topics as Santomassimo facilitates communications. Participants will be able to text questions during each live presentation, allowing for a lively interaction.

The first session will focus on "Succession Planning: Realizing the Maximum Value from What You Built." Subsequent sessions will discuss "Mergers and Acquisitions – A Method of Accelerating Your Brokerage Firm’s Growth and Enterprise Value," to be held in April, and "Broker Retention – Keeping The Brokers That Give Your Company Its Value."

The fee for participation in all three webinars, additional course materials from Rust and access to The Massimo Group's R.A.M.P. UP Owner/Manager Assessment platform, a proprietary platform that helps them assess current management strategies is $499.  For more information, and to register, visit
