Massey Knakal's Jill Lovatt Named Leasing Agent Of The Year
Having completed 20 leases with an aggregate rental value of over $150 million, Jill Lovatt, First Vice President of Retail Leasing, has been named Massey Knakal’s Leasing Agent of the Year.
“Jill Lovatt moved to Manhattan from the West Coast only two years ago where she made a quick and smooth transition to retail leasing while leveraging her own brand of discipline and the Massey Knakal Territory System™. She now has a dominant market share on the Eastside. All of us at Massey Knakal are proud of her achievement. She has also exhibited leadership and acted as a mentor for other women at the firm,” said Paul J. Massey Jr., CEO.
Over the course of just 18 months of representing Massey Knakal Retail Leasing Services, Ms. Lovatt has achieved impressive results, for both her clients and the firm. With 33 retail lease listings and 20 retail lease closings, seven of which are located on the “gold coast” of Madison Avenue, Ms. Lovatt has been able to set benchmarks for recent record leasing rates for her clients on the Upper East Side. The Madison Avenue leases included international retailers from France, Switzerland and Italy, transforming the block and adding value to the building and the neighborhood.
In addition, through Ms. Lovatt’s marketing efforts, Massey Knakal has quickly become a force in retail leasing on the Upper East Side. With her territory ranging from Third Avenue to Fifth Avenue, from East 60th Street to East 96th Street, Ms. Lovatt immediately saw an opportunity to fill a need by providing potential building-owner clients with comprehensive retail leasing service and excellent retail leasing results. With a great combination of intelligence, communication skills and a strong work ethic, Ms. Lovatt’s clients have found a refreshing approach to retail leasing brokerage. An approach that has paid off for them in terms of business benefits and also the comfort of knowing they are working with an honest market expert who is looking out for their best interests.
