Massey Knakal Sells School Building In Brooklyn

A school building at 5721 Sixth Avenue, located on the corner of Sixth Avenue and 58th Street in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park neighborhood, was sold in an all-cash transaction valued at $3,000,000.

The two-story building, plus finished cellar, contains approximately 15,038 square feet and sits on a 50.17’ x 100’ lot.  The property has been extensively developed with state of the art mechanicals, a new elevator, and high-end finishes.  It is configured with 17 classrooms, two teachers’ offices, and playground located on the roof.  The sale price equates to approximately $199 per square foot.

“This property’s pristine condition, readiness to occupy, and ability to be delivered vacant attracted strong interest from both the investor and user markets,” said Massey Knakal First Vice President of Sales Robert M. Shapiro, who exclusively handled this transaction with Director of Sales Brian Hanson.
