Mark Built Homes Honored Again by NJ Builders at Annual SAM Awards Ceremony
May 2014:Mark Built Homes, a renowned, family-owned firm that has been building homes in New Jersey for three generations, was honored once again this year with an impressive number of Sales and Marketing (SAM) Awards. The SAM Awards are presented every year by the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) to honor excellence in residential design and other aspects of homebuilding in the Garden State.
At this year’s awards banquet and ceremony, held March 27th at Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, Mark Built received a total of eight SAM awards for 14 Euclid at Summit Place, a collection of luxurious townhomes and spacious condominiums in downtown Summit, NJ. Most impressively, 14 Euclid took home a coveted “Community of the Year” award, one of the highest honors given each year to only a select few communities which have demonstrated excellence across the board, including excellence in in design and floorplan offerings. This marks the second consecutive year that Mark Built won “Community of the Year,” following last year’s win for 50 Parmley at Summit Place.
Mark Built and 14 Euclid also won a SAM Award this year for “Best Luxury Mid-Rise” – an honor the builder was also awarded with last year for 50 Parmley at Summit. This year also marks the third time that Mark Built was honored in the luxury townhome category, following a win for The Heights at Tenafly.
Michael Markovitz, President of Mark Built Homes, commented on the firm’s recognition by NJBA. “We’re truly honored to receive these awards for 14 Euclid at Summit Place,” Markovitz said. “There is so much quality workmanship being done in the state right now and we’re proud to stand along with our homebuilding colleagues to help advance the standards of our industry. These awards are a testament to our commitment as a company to designing and building homes that have enduring character and value. 14 Euclid is a special community that reflects our passion for creative design and craftsmanship, so it’s especially rewarding to be recognized for our efforts there.”
Mark Built Homes shared the SAM award honors for 14 Euclid at Summit Place with key strategic partners CB New Homes, advertising agency WhiteHOT Marketing, and architect Feinberg & Associates.
Mark Built’s latest project is James Place, a new collection of luxury townhomes being built in Morris Township – the first such collection of townhomes to hit the township in fifteen years. James Place will feature 92 exquisitely designed, spacious townhomes with six different floorplans that offer two or three bedrooms, patios and two-car garages. Buyer response for James Place has been nothing short of phenomenal, with the community already 40% sold prior to its official opening.
