Marcus & Millichap/IPA Multifamily Forum: Washington D.C.
More than 400 top real estate executives expected to attend
Washington D.C. (March 13, 2014)- Marcus & Millichap announced today that registration is still open for its Multifamily Forum in Washington D.C., which will be held at the Kellogg Conference Center on March 20. The conference is being organized by GreenPearl Events.
The focus of the forum will revolve around the investment, development and management of multifamily properties throughout the greater Washington D.C. area, including the submarkets of Virginia and Maryland. Emphasis will be placed on subjects such as emerging neighborhoods within the region, trends in fundamentals and the impact on building operations, and implications of current and future legislation on the commercial real estate market.
Doug Bibby, president of the National Multifamily Housing Council, will serve as the event’s morning keynote speaker, with the “Around the Beltway: D.C.’s Submarkets and Emerging Neighborhoods” panel discussion following his interview. Washington, D.C. Deputy Mayor Victor Hoskins will add an additional level of insight to the forum as the afternoon keynote speaker. Additional speakers will include Jim Darcey of ASB Real Estate Investments, Brian Grant of Equity Residential and Norman Jemal of Douglas Development.
Paired with an enriched learning experience, the substantial networking opportunities offered by the forum will be second to none. Attendees will have the opportunity to develop connections with more than 400 of the top executives in the field during the course of three separate networking sessions. As the conference enters its third year, the turnout is expected to be the largest ever.
