MARCUS & MILLICHAP EXPANDS ITS FOOTPRINT IN THE HOUSTON OFFICE AND INDUSTRIAL MARKET

HOUSTON, 2017 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate investment services firm with offices throughout the United States and Canada, is pleased to announce the addition of two new industrial investment sales team members to Marcus & Millichap’s Houston office, according to David H. Luther, first vice president/district manager. Joining the firm are Stephen Hazen and Kent Willis who will be responsible for leveraging the firm’s office and industrial presence in the Houston metropolitan area and throughout southeast Texas.

Stephen Hazen joins Marcus & Millichap with several years of industrial and office real estate experience.  Prior to being in real estate, he spent 10 years in medical device sales and management.   Within his first six months with Marcus & Millichap, Hazen secured $70,000,000 in listings that will be delivering in 2017. 

Kent Willis joins Marcus & Millichap with a deep knowledge in representing clients in the buying, selling and lease of real estate.  Prior to his real estate brokerage career, he ran a successful environmental services business that focused on industrial developments across Houston, implementing erosion control plans and landscape designs and installations for large institutional grade developers. Mr. Willis has worked with local developers to identify inner city industrial properties for redevelopment and has served as a tenant representative for multi-national companies looking to expand their distribution and manufacturing presence in Houston, the nation’s fourth largest industrial market.
