Free-standing building draws multiple offers
AGOURA HILLS, CA – June 4, 2014 – An owner-user has acquired a 3,100-square-foot retail building at 5076 Chesebro Road in Agoura Hills, CA for $1,150,000, according to Cheri Blessing and Mike Tingus of Lee & Associates-LA North/Ventura.
The free-standing building attracted a number of offers, and sold very close to list price, said Blessing, a Lee associate, who, with Tingus, represented the seller, a private family trust.
“The property enjoys a stellar corner location at the Chesebro Road on/off ramp of the Ventura (101) Freeway with freeway visibility in a very well-traveled corridor,“ Blessing added. “And the current environment is ideal for owner-user purchases because SBA financing is readily available with low down payments, and interest rates are still at record lows.”
The buyer, who will operate Dioji K-9 Resort & Athletic Club, a Santa Barbara-based doggie day care and boarding center at the property, was represented by Joe Lopez of Westcord Commercial Real Estate Services.
