Lee & Associates Kansas City Negotiates 60,000 SF Industrial Sale

     OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Jan. 30, 2014 -- Lee & Associates Kansas City has negotiated the sale of a 60,000-square-foot industrial warehouse/manufacturing facility, located at 3612 Karnes Blvd. in Kansas City, Mo. 

     
     Ben Boyd, associate, and Russell Pearson, principal, of Lee & Associates Kansas City represented the seller, MidFirst Bank.  Roxanne Elliott of Lane4 Property Group, Inc. represented the buyer, Hufft Projects, an architecture and design firm. 

     
     “This was a tough sale with a rewarding outcome for all parties involved.” said Boyd.  “After sitting on the market for nearly two years, the warehouse had developed significant deferred maintenance issues that had to be solved and reversed by the buyer, Hufft Projects.” said Pearson.  Hufft, in return, was able to take advantage of great pricing and incentives. 

     Hufft has made about $1.4 million in improvements in the space so far with plans for additional improvement to the building and surrounding area, making way for a better work environment and expansion within their company, while impacting the surrounding community in a positive way.  The firm has plans to donate part of its extra space to a local nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Roanoke Park.
