Lee & Associates-Greenville Transacts 85,795 SF Lease for Universal Packaging and Sewing Supplies, Inc in Spartanburg, SC

SPARTANBURG, South Carolina—March 22th, 2016— Universal Packaging and Sewing Supplies, Inc., currently based in Duncan, South Carolina, has signed an 85,795 SF lease at 160 Lincoln School Road in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Universal Packaging and Sewing Supplies offers the largest selection of industrial sewing related equipment, supplies, and parts in the industry. They pride themselves on their ability to ship stock items the same day orders are received, which requires a large warehouse for inventory.

Randall Bentley, with Lee & Associates Greenville, represented Universal Packaging and Sewing Supplies. He negotiated the transaction with Adam Padgett of The Lyons Group, Spartanburg, who represented the owner, Tietex Corporation.

The new tenant is expected to occupy the space in May, 2016. The 193,000 SF facility is on a fourteen-acre parcel, surrounded by several other industrial parks. Universal Packaging and Sewing Supplies, Inc., will move into the balance of the space at 160 Lincoln School Road with the existing tenant, ThyssenKrupp, who occupies 104,000 SF. This is an ideal location for such businesses, as it provides easy access to both I-26 and I-85.
